Junior Golf Camp at Prairie View
Our Junior Golf Camp is a 6-week summer program focused on growing the game among Cheyenne’s youth. Designed for ages 7–18 and held at Prairie View, the program combines skill-building, games, and on-course experience.
Each session includes swing fundamentals, putting practice, etiquette lessons, and age-appropriate play on the course. Group sizes are small for individualized attention.

Golf is not only a fun game for all ages, it can teach developing youth:

Golf is also great way for the entire family to spend more time together in an outdoor environment.
JUNIOR LESSONS
Lessons are Tuesday mornings beginning in June on the first Tuesday of school summer break. Cost for the six week program is $50 per child from ages 8 to 18.
The format is 45 minutes of group instruction . All activities are supervised and parents are encouraged to stay and watch the students during the lessons.
The instructional format includes:
- Basics of the swing
- Chipping
- Pitching
- Putting
- Etiquette and care of the golf course
- Strategy and basic rules associated with the game.
Sign-up begins the first of May and may be done at either Prairie View, the Airport Golf Shops or online by filling out the form below.
